London Wedding Photographer

Natural moments. Cinematic frames. Your story, honestly captured.

Your wedding isn't a photoshoot. It's a day full of people, emotion, movement, nerves, laughter, traditions and moments you may not even realise are happening.

My approach to wedding photography is about preserving all of that without making the day feel like it revolves around the camera.

I'm Chirag, a London-based photographer and filmmaker creating natural, cinematic wedding photography for couples who want their images to feel genuine, atmospheric and personal.

Wedding photography that feels like your day

Some of the photographs you remember most won't necessarily be the ones we planned.

They might be your parents seeing you for the first time. A reaction during the ceremony. Friends laughing at something happening outside the frame. A quiet moment between the two of you when nobody else is paying attention.

Those are the moments I'm always looking for.

I work primarily in a documentary style, observing what is happening and allowing moments to unfold naturally. When some direction would genuinely improve a photograph — portraits, group photographs or finding the best light — I'll guide you without making things feel stiff or over-produced.

The result is a gallery that combines honest documentary photography with carefully composed, cinematic imagery.

Calm, unobtrusive coverage

Being photographed all day can sound intimidating, particularly if you don't usually enjoy being in front of the camera.

It shouldn't feel that way.

My approach is calm and relaxed. For much of the day I work quietly in the background, anticipating moments rather than constantly interrupting them.

During portraits, I'll give enough direction that you never feel unsure about what to do, while keeping things natural enough that the photographs still feel like you.

The aim is simple: beautiful photographs without turning your wedding into a production.

From the quiet moments to the celebration

Wedding coverage can include:

  • Morning preparations
  • Details and finishing touches
  • Arrivals
  • Ceremony
  • Family and group photographs
  • Couple portraits
  • Candid guest moments
  • Reception details
  • Speeches
  • Evening celebrations
  • First dance
  • Party and dance floor
  • Multi-event and cultural celebrations

Every wedding has a different rhythm, so coverage is built around your plans rather than forcing your day into a standard template.

Photography with feeling

I'm particularly drawn to atmosphere.

The way light falls through a room. Movement on a dance floor. A nervous expression before the ceremony. Family interactions. The small details that give a place or celebration its character.

My background across photography, cinematography and editing influences the way I photograph weddings. I think about individual images, but also about how the entire gallery works together as a story.

Wide establishing frames sit alongside portraits, details and small observational moments so that when you look back through the photographs, you don't just remember what the day looked like.

You remember how it felt.

London weddings and beyond

I'm based in London and photograph weddings across the city and throughout the UK.

From intimate ceremonies and registry-office weddings to larger celebrations, the approach remains the same: understand what matters to you, plan enough that the day runs smoothly, and leave enough space for genuine moments to happen.

Photography and film together

Because I work across both photography and filmmaking, I understand how the two need to work alongside one another on a wedding day.

If you're considering both photography and videography, you can enquire about combined coverage and I can help you work out the right approach for your plans.

Frequently asked questions

Do you photograph weddings outside London?

Yes. I'm London-based but can cover weddings elsewhere in the UK and travel can be discussed as part of your quote.

We're awkward in front of the camera. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Most couples aren't used to being professionally photographed. I'll give you direction when you need it without forcing poses or making portraits feel overly staged.

Can you photograph both small and large weddings?

Yes. Coverage is shaped around the event rather than a fixed format, whether you're planning something intimate or a larger celebration.

Do you offer wedding videography too?

Yes. CG Media provides both photography and filmmaking, and you can enquire about either service or discuss combined coverage.
